About Me
Hi, I’m Maitri — a UX designer based in the Washington D.C. area. I graduated from Rutgers University in 2024 with a double major in Cognitive Science and Psychology.
I take a multidisciplinary approach to design, combining behavioral science with user-centered methods to create thoughtful, intuitive experiences. My process is grounded in research — both qualitative and quantitative — to uncover patterns, inform decisions, and guide rapid iteration.
Hi, I’m Maitri — a self-taught UX designer with a background in Cognitive Science and Psychology.
Design is a puzzle — one that sits at the intersection of people, psychology, and technology.
My design process is grounded in uncovering patterns and trends through qualitative and quantitative research. I focus on rapid iteration, translating insights into clear, effective solutions that address both user needs and business goals.

Outside of work, you can still find me creating and tinkering. I love making jewelry, crocheting and playing Stardew Valley.
My lifelong love for puzzles — from Sudoku to crosswords — continue to shape how I approach design: with curiosity, structure, and a deep appreciation for solving complex problems.
